Is that your first upload? Good job. I see you made the same booboo I did when I started uploading, the Ourmedia thing. Next time you upload and the process is completed and BEFORE you hit the "share my files" button, notice there's a group of words right above it. In there, it will say >not an "other" item?< in blue letters. Click that, and you'll see some icons appear right below it. Click the "movies" icon THEN click the "share my files" button and wait for your page to come up. I would also suggest you save the links to your pages so when IA does get around to moving files again, you'll be able to post a move request so staff can put your movies where they're supposed to go. Most of the stuff isn't moving right now and probably won't be for a while yet since IA doesn't have a moderator right now. But I'm sure they'll get one so keep watching the forum.
Now I have a question: what other movies you got?

Hi, thank you for the info. As for PD films I have besides the others I mentioned in previous posts, and all the stuff I got off IA, the only other stuff I have are:
1. The Satanic Rites of Dracula(was that pulled from IA for copyright reasons?)
2. They call me trinity
and
3. Blind Fist of Bruce- kinda low grade but fun martial arts beatem up.
Thats all I can think of that might be PD. BTW, I having probs uploading my 2nd release(War of the Monsters). the Mpeg2 file is too large (almost 4gbs!), I was redirected when I tried to upload it to an uploader editer of IAs. I filled out the fields before hand and when I start the upload, Iget an error on the file saying about having trouble decoding the file. I dont believe its my virus protection, but I could be wrong. Is it because of its size. Is there any way to compress a single large Mpeg2 file into some size easier to upload. Or is there a different way to upload files on IA. Im new at this tuff. Please bear with me.

Yeah, "Satanic Rites..." was pulled because it was copyright. All the Hammer films are. If it's any consolation though, I'm uploading the trailer for it as I write this. Now, if you want to upload more movies, I suggest you post a message here in the forum with the list of movies you want to put up and wait for an answer before you go ahead. If our friend Video Cellar responds and tells you a certain movie is PD or copyright, you can usually take what he says for truth since he knows more about this stuff than anyone. I always wait for his response before I go ahead. As far as shrinking down files, I use DivX Author to make 700MB divx files. Other people use other programs to make mpegs of various sizes. If you care about picture quality, don't shrink the movie down too far below 700MB, just my suggestion.

Thank you again. Ive finally got the file uploaded. It took me a while to compress it right. I hope it works. If there are problems with the file, feedback would be appreciated. The link is:

I wanted to make sure it would be placed in the right section. I like to use Mpeg2s btw, because their easy to create DVDs out of. Im not crazy about watching vids on the computer all the time, to be honest.
Ill post alist of the other films Id like to upload for Video Cellars feedback. Thank you very much. Its most appreciated.

Yay! More suitimation! Love these cheesey rubber monsters.
Anybody got "Attack of the Monsters," "Yongary, Monster from the Deep," or "Gigantis the Fire Monster?" I believe they're all PD. Somebody put "Gamera vs Guiron" up, but that's the title of the CR Sandy Frank version, and I can't get it to play anyway.

Boy, I was set to upload Gigantis, The Fire Monster (1959), but it has a proper notice and it was copyrighted and the copyright was renewed. :-(

You'd have good luck uploading large files if you used FTP rather than HTTP uploading. I never have problems with it.
